The outdoor terrace and Edinburgh Ballroom, with its beautiful chandeliers, are among the most popular spaces for weddings and it's not hard to see why with stunning views. Lobby

The Malcolm Hotel exudes warmth from the very moment you enter its lobby. A cozy fireplace, which can be adorned with flowers for your wedding, sets the tone, while magnificent chandeliers illuminate the space, creating a welcoming ambiance. The lobby also features comfortable seating areas, perfect for capturing a few portraits with your loved ones and a grand staircase for more intimate portraits.

The Edinburgh Terrace

The Edinburgh Terrace is our favourite ceremony venue within The Malcolm Hotel. While it is subject to weather conditions, we are constantly amazed by the breathtaking vistas that encompass this outdoor patio. Whether you opt for an outdoor winter ceremony on a clear, sunny day or a warm autumn ceremony amid the changing leaves, this space is sure to exceed your expectations.

Edinburgh Castle Room

When set up for indoor ceremonies, the Edinburgh Castle Room can be adorned with elegant décor and fresh flowers, creating an intimate and beautiful space. We take pleasure in enhancing the stunning mountain views with floral hedges, pedestal arrangements, and arches.

Cocktail Reception

Cocktail receptions can take place in the Edinburgh Holyrood Room, which is conveniently located next to the Castle Room. A small airwall divides the spaces, allowing guests to enjoy cocktails in this room before finding their tables for the reception. A seating chart displayed on a stunning mirror with floral hedges is a beautiful way to add an elegant touch to the ambiance!

Reception

For your reception the Edinburgh Castle Room is transformed into the Edinburgh Ballroom with its 260-person capacity it is the ideal venue for both indoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. Its floor-to-ceiling windows, offering sweeping views of the Three Sisters, provide an enchanting setting for your special day.

For receptions, long tables or round tables can be arranged to transform the space into a magical dining room. Whether adorned with garlands, tall or short centerpieces, or delicate bud vases, the ballroom offers endless possibilities for creating a memorable atmosphere.
