Timeless Elegant Wedding Florals at The Calgary Fairmont Palliser Hotel

Laine and Parker's love story feels like something straight out of a fairytale. Connected through work, Laine's father invited Parker over for dinner when Laine also happened to be working out on the deck. It only took one night of countless board games before their romance quickly took off. Even Laine's closest friends were messaging her "Laine, who is this guy? I seriously think he's your future husband". Spoiler alert... they were inseparable after their first date, travelling the world together, engaged within a year and officially husband and wife this August 29th, 2025!

The couple's wedding day at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel in Calgary was touched with meaningful elements inspired by their life together. From their personalized crossword puzzle during cocktail hour that was reflective of their daily morning crosswords that they complete together, to their handwritten letters for each and every guest, reminiscent of Laine's love language, their wedding day was truly crafted with pure intentions.

Blending Laine and her mother's floral visions, our team embellished the space with neutral coloured and luscious florals. One of Janie's highlights was the ceremony backdrop made with metal frames of varying heights, welded by Janie's brother and painted by our team. These creative stands were complemented by filling the iconic Crystal Ballroom with 3 styles of centerpieces — 2 tall arrangements in different styled vases and 1 low gold metal compote arrangement — to create a romantic atmosphere for 245 guests among 26 tables and of course... the head table!

Another one of the wedding highlights for Janie was bringing Laine and her bridesmaid's their bouquets and seeing Laine's reaction to her bouquet for the first time. Janie also loved showing Laine that she grew the phlox and lace flower from her own cutting garden, specifically to add into Laine's bouquet for an extra special touch! It was such a pleasure working with Melissa Alison Events, Laine, and Elizabeth to execute their wedding vision!
