This year marks the fifth anniversary of Rosé & Croquet, a cherished charity event in Calgary hosted by the historic Deane House. Our team was honoured to return as the  floral designers, providing triple the amount of florals than ever before!

At Flowers by Janie, one of our core values is giving back which is why this event holds a special meaning for us. All of the proceeds from Rosé & Croquet goes towards YW Calgary, a non-profit that empowers women entrepreneurs with financial barriers to start and manage their businesses. 

Thanks to the Flowering with Purpose Grant, awarded to our owner and lead florist Janelle Gerestein (Janie) by Bloom Trust Co, we were able to contribute an eight-person floral workshop to the silent auction (partnering with Deane House for an Afternoon Tea), which raised an incredible $1,650! The grant also allows us to offer floral donation services as a bonus for a few clients this year, with their wedding flowers going to the women at YW Calgary.

Together, Rosé & Croquet raised over $260,000 for the YW Calgary!
