Kayla & Ryan are our real Calgary couple featured in this romantic and whimsical 1920s inspired photo session by photographers Erin and Andrew of Photographik. Kayla and Ryan were married in September 2013 and were eagar to be our newly wed models for this New Years Eve holiday inspirational shoot. We chose this era as it is timeless, classic and oh so glamourous! We opted for a colour palette of gold, pink, peach and ivory as we are seeing many couples requesting these colours for their own upcoming 2014 weddings! We included mini pine cones, gold lotus pods, gold Christmas balls, myrtle, seeded eucalytpus and magnolia tips into the bouquet and sweet heart table arrangements to provide texture as well as a holiday feel and smell. The fresh flowers used where gladiolus blooms, peonies, roses, hydrangea, lisianthus and hypericum berries for a lush and romantic look. Happy 2014!
